My name is Bob Wiley, and I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Formerly, I was a public high school teacher of foreign languages. The goal of this website is to contribute to the dissemination of research in cognitive science and its related fields relevant to understanding how the human mind and brain learn and use written language. The intention is to share my original research as well as to explain others’ to interested audiences, in particular teachers and parents.
